I stayed on the beachside site for a few nights in January in my caravan. I was really pleasantly surprised what a great campground so close to Auckland it was. The kitchen, toilet and shower facilities were better than I have ever had in other campgrounds. It was nice and quiet at night after 9pm. The short walk to the beach was great, and of course Whangaparaoa has so many beautiful beaches to explore. Also, Bobs Burgers on site were delicious and a really good find. Thank you Pinewoods for a great stay.

We had an awesome first camping experience with kids this holiday. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming in the park. Fun programs for everyone including kids for the summer. We had all the facilities we need. Short walk to the beach and shops around. Highly recommend for the families with younger and older children. We will love to come back again!

It is a great little campground near the beach. The facilities are nice & clean. The reception staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. It is set in lovely grounds. I would definitely come again.
